God My Father: Developing A Personal Relationship with God Our Father
We have had all kinds of relationship with people that may have been good and might have been bad and terrible. Some of these relationships left you lost, hurt, and feeling unwanted. GOD MY FATHER is a book that will help you see who you really are, and how much God loves you and want you for Himself. I share my personal struggle with my identity and worth which I share in this book and how God saved me from myself and others.
We go to all sorts of efforts to build friendships, partnerships, our marriages, good relationships with our children, even ralationships with our pets. But do we do the same with our heavenly Father? How deep is our love for Him? Just like it take work to have a relationship on earth, it takes commitment to have a good spiritual relationship with our heavenly Father.
Before and after becoming saved, we go through different stages of spiritual transformation. Spiritual transformation does not just start when we are born again; it begins as we are formed in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5a). After we are saved and born again, we go through stages of spiritual formation before we establish a stable relationship with our heavenly Father (Rom. 12:2; Eph. 5:1-21). I have laid out these stages using the three trimesters of pregnancy before a woman is full term, as well as used my journey before and after salvation as an example.
You might not have struggled with the same issue I have but you battled with other problems; nevertheless, I believe this book will help you. God wants to show us just how much He loves us in spite of our mess, and if we have a sincere desire to come out, He will bring us out and wrap us in His loving arms of forgiveness, peace, and joy. He will cleanse us up and destroy those yokes that have us bound as we grow closer and closer to Him–letting go of the past and embracing our new life.
